Class to Night Out: Leopard Outerwear

Bolder is better.

Products L-R: Leopard Wrap – $35, Leopard Blazer – $38, Leopard Zip-Up – $46

There’s no better way to jazz up a basic outfit than with a bold pop of print. Leopard print is one of our favorites here at CF (leopard is a neutral, hey!), so today we’ve combined it with the fashion category we’re all shopping in late November – cozy outerwear.

Worried about how to style such a statement item? Keep reading to see how a leopard jacket or leopard print hoodie can be dressed down for day or glammed out for night.

Leopard Outerwear: Class

Like I mentioned above, here at CF we categorize leopard as a neutral. However, others throw anything leopard into the “glam” category. Whichever way you see it, here is a way to style a leopard piece – specifically a cool leopard zip hoodie – for class.

Pairing the hoodie with a simple pair of black joggers and black details such as a black baseball cap and backpack allows the leopard to pop without being overwhelming. The red New Balance shoes add a needed hint of color to an otherwise neutral outfit. Finally, a dainty necklace adds a nice feminine touch.

Leopard Outerwear: Night

Leopard print practically screams night out, so it’s super easy to wear any leopard piece once the sun goes down.

Pairing the leopard hoodie with a form fitting black skirt and pointed heels dresses the casual piece up and creates a killer outfit. Layer on some minimal rings and grab a crossbody bag for your extras. Finish with a classic red nail. Is anyone else getting throwback Kardashian vibes from this outfit?

Let me know!

Is the bold print leopard look more suited for the classroom or should the print stick to glam events? Let me know in the comments!
