Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Taylor Hill, Gigi Hadid, & Romee Strijd
Nail the model-off-duty look by taking inspiration from Taylor Hill, Gigi Hadid, and Romee Strijd.
Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Taylor Hill, Gigi Hadid, and Romee Strijd. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Taylor Hill’s Edgy Cool
Model Taylor Hill went out to dinner in Europe wearing an edgy look with a playful twist. Taylor rocked a bright pink varsity-style jacket over a simple white t-shirt, black ripped skinny jeans, and black lace-up combat boots.
While most of her outfit had an edgy, tough feel, Taylor added some glam to her look with her pink jacket, embellished purse, and vintage-inspired sunglasses. The bright pink hue of her jacket gave her ensemble a needed pop of color. Overall, her look is balanced, fresh, and oh-so easy to wear.
Outfit Inspired by Taylor
Taylor’s look can be worn day or night, and it features items you may already own, like a plain white t-shirt and black skinny jeans with ripped knees. Contrast some edgy lace-up combat boots with a brightly colored varsity jacket or bomber jacket – preferably in pink. This pink satin bomber jacket features a striped elastic trim similar to Taylor’s jacket, and is key in making this outfit stand out. Complete the look with some cool accessories like a studded or embellished crossbody bag and some vintage-inspired sunglasses with colored lenses.
Look 2: Gigi Hadid’s Stylish Neutrals
Gigi Hadid is one of our favorite models to watch for off-duty style, and in true Gigi form, she made the streets of Milan her runway this week.
Though it was made up of neutral pieces, Gigi’s look was far from boring, featuring ultra ripped jeans, olive lace-up booties, a matching cowl-neck bodysuit, and a shearling-lined coat. Her textured coat, bold jeans, and killer booties give her that fashion-forward, model-esque look that is perfect for the current season.
Outfit Inspired by Gigi
Get Gigi’s look by layering neutral hues like olive green and taupe with some eye-catching jeans. Ultra-ripped jeans give this look some edge, while a sleek turtleneck or cowl-neck bodysuit and some lace-up booties dress the jeans up. These booties have a lower heel than Gigi’s, making them a bit more versatile. Keep warm in a chic army green coat with a faux shearling lining, and accessorize with some round silver sunglasses like Gigi for a cool final touch.
Look 3: Romee Strijd’s Eye-Catching Extras
Model Romee Strijd was also spotted during Milan Fashion Week, looking super chic in an all-black outfit with colorful, eye-catching extras.
Romee kept her outfit’s base layers simple by wearing black coated skinny jeans and a plain black mock-neck top, along with some white low-top sneakers. Like a true fashionista, Romee used bold colors to make her ensemble pop, rocking a long baby blue coat and carrying a small, bright red leather backpack.
Outfit Inspired by Romee
To achieve Romee’s look, start with a base layer of black to make the colors of the coat and backpack shine through. These coated skinny jeans pair well with a simple black mock-neck top, while some white low-top sneakers will keep you comfortable all day. These sneakers have woven detailing, which gives them a unique look. Take a cue from Romee and rock a long coat in a bold color, like this blue wool-blend coat. Complete this “classic with a twist” ensemble with a small yet eye-catching backpack in red.
