Put away your dark, moody colors — it’s springtime!

I know what you’re thinking. Pastels for spring?

Pastels make a comeback every season, but that doesn’t mean it’s a tired trend. In fact, pastels have been seen all over the place and they’ve never looked better. They’re a constant spring trend for a reason.

In addition, pastels technically encompass a wider range of shades than you might think. (See the blue in the first look, below.) So there’s a lot of variation in the colors you can choose to get this look. If you think you don’t like pastels, you might want to think again. (It’s kind of like when you think you can’t wear pink — you totally can, no matter your style.)

In honor of the spring season and warmer weather, these three outfits will convince you to bring soft blues, pale pinks, and daffodil yellows back into your closet.

Spring Pastels Outfit #1

Who doesn’t love an easy, breezy look? Midi skirts are the definition of effortless and I love this soft blue one with button-front detailing. It’s so chic and easy to pair with everything.

Here, I’ve styled this blue midi button-front skirt with a detailed crop sweater and a fun pair of studded mules for the perfect daytime look.

Spring Pastels Outfit #2

Rompers are perfect for dressy occasions that aren’t that dressy. I love a good pastel romper for the springtime season, and this off-the-shoulder one is totally on-trend.

Since rompers are so simple on their own, this is the perfect time to play with your accessories. Eye-catching shoes are always my go-to; they’re such an underrated accessory. These printed cork heels are the perfect addition to any spring wardrobe, and they’ll transition right into your summer closet. (Who doesn’t love versatility?)

Throw a faded denim jacket over top of the romper to keep it light and casual. This slightly oversized jacket brings in another trendy element while keeping you warm during the transitional temperatures.

Spring Pastels Outfit #3

If you’re going for a more casual look, you can’t go wrong with a simple T-shirt – in a pastel shade this time.

Yellow is a color I never thought I’d wear, but now I can’t stop wearing it! If you’re familiar with Gen Z Yellow, then you might’ve caught onto this color trend before I did. Now, I’m telling anyone that will listen that daffodil yellow makes for the best springtime shade. Seriously, try it for yourself! You’ll be obsessed too.

On the warmer days, opt for a plaid mini skirt in a neutral color to make the pastel tee pop. Add a pair of sneakers (how cute are these black bow sneakers?) and you’re ready for the day.
