Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Nicola Peltz, Suki Waterhouse, & Karrueche Tran

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Nicola Peltz, Suki Waterhouse, and Karrueche Tran. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Nicola Peltz’s Sleek Trousers & Crop Top Combo

Actress Nicola Peltz was one of the many celebs this week to sport a black monochromatic ensemble and look striking while doing so. There’s something about head-to-toe black that looks edgy and sleek. The look also works for any season. 

Nicola went out to dinner in some flared high-rise trousers and a plain black cropped top. She wore a leather moto jacket and bow choker necklace to give her look some edge for a night out.

Nicola’s outfit makes for a sleek going-out look that is both edgy and chic. Some flared or wide leg trousers with a high waist are fashion-forward and will elongate your legs – be sure to wear them with heels, like these heeled ankle booties, to avoid having the pants drag on the ground. These velvet trousers are especially perfect for the holiday season, and they create contrast with the faux leather moto jacket. 

Wear them with a simple black cropped top so that your waist is emphasized and to show a peek of skin if desired. Accessorize with a trendy bow choker necklace and an eye-catching clutch bag, like this metal diamond cut-out clutch.

Look 2: Suki Waterhouse’s Eye-Catching Outerwear

Suki Waterhouse added a pop of color to her black mini dress and over-the-knee boot combo by rocking a teal coat with fur trim and carrying a bright yellow chain-link purse. Her coat gave her ensemble a vintage vibe, while the velvet fabric of her boots made them especially seasonal; velvet is ideal for the holiday season. Suki’s look is playful and unique, and goes to show how your outerwear can completely transform your outfit.

A simple black dress is one of the most versatile pieces around, as it can be transformed countless different ways with a change of your shoes, accessories, and outerwear. If you don’t already have one, this knit mock neck mini dress makes for an awesome, budget-friendly dupe for Suki’s dress. To get her eye-catching going out look, pair it with some black OTK boots, preferably in velvet for a unique and seasonal touch. 

While the dress and boots combo creates a striking look in itself, you can get Suki’s flair by wearing a coat with a faux fur trim (this one is in a teal shade similar to her’s) and carry a bright yellow chain-link purse for a fun pop of color.

Look 3: Karrueche Tran’s Trendy Party Look 

Karreuche Tran was all smiles in a trendy all-black ensemble while attending a party this past week. She took on the lace-up trend by wearing a super cool pair of lace-up skinny jeans with a slinky v-neck top and a shaggy faux fur coat. 

Karreuche’s edgy yet glamorous look takes some fashion fearlessness to pull off, but the monochromatic color palette keeps it from looking too over-the-top.

You’re sure to be the center of attention in this Karrueche-inspired look at any upcoming holiday parties or nights on the town. While lace-up tops and sweaters are still trending majorly, give the trend a spin with a pair of black lace-up front skinny jeans. These are similar to Karrueche’s, and have an edgy, rocker vibe to them. Balance them out with a simple, silky black camisole and a pair of sleek black heels.

For a super bold finishing touch, wear a shaggy black faux fur coat over top (or a faux leather moto jacket for a more toned down look) and carry a silver sequined clutch for some added sparkle.
