A Week in Her Style: Iskra Lawrence
NEDA Ambassador and creator of the NEDA Inspires Award, Managing Editor at Runway Riot, and Aerie Model. Iskra Lawrence is a total icon. She not only travels the country to spread her message of body positivity, but she is also part of the Aerie campaign focusing on unretouched photos.
It’s truly inspiring seeing someone who takes criticism from body-shamers and turns it into a positive message for others. Not to mention, Iskra’s style is pretty killer, too.
Below I’ve put together a week’s worth of comfy and cute outfits inspired by Iskra Lawrence’s style. She is all about the comfort while still dressing appropriately for any occasion.
Monday
I love how jogger pants are now considered fashionable, because I own way too many pairs. There are also so many styles, colors, and fabrics out there to choose from. When you pair your joggers with a simple top, a cool jacket, and the right accessories you can’t go wrong!

Tuesday
Jumpsuits are something that I once considered outside of my comfort zone. Mainly because the ones I tried in the past were highly unflattering and uncomfortable.
Below, however, I have created an outfit using one that I purchased recently online. This is the best jumpsuit I have ever worn. It hugs my curves while being loose in the areas that I don’t want to accentuate. I love to wear it with glam jewelry and a serious pair of heels.

Wednesday
You can never go wrong with classic jeans. Pairing denim with denim is a huge trend currently, and I especially love Iskra’s look pairing high-waisted jeans with a denim long-sleeve shirt. Total throwback.

Thursday
This is my fave outfit of the bunch. I adore the whole ballerina-sporty-look: It’s cute, comfy, perfect for studying around the dorm, and simple to adapt to your style. (Swap the bralette for a tank or tee if you’re feeling more modest than Iskra.)

Friday
This is a very classy yet simple look. As we’ve discussed on CF a zillion times before, every girl should own at least one white blouse and a pair of nude heels. They are both closet staple items, and when worn together with classic jeans and a cool bag? Perfection.

Saturday
Lace-up tops, another huge trend of 2016, are very sexy as well as fun! This look, which pairs a lace-up top with lace-up heels, is perfect for a night out on the town with your BFF’s.

Sunday
